About Mallport

UK agriculture: listings, intelligence, and innovation in one place

We help people who grow, make, and sell food and farm goods show what they offer, and we help buyers and businesses find them. Alongside the marketplace, we publish news and hubs for climate-smart knowledge, farmer-led innovation, and day-to-day agricultural intelligence.

What Mallport is

Mallport is a UK-focused platform for agricultural and food-sector listings, community content, and editorial tools. Sellers can advertise products and services (for example produce, livestock-related goods, seedlings, or professional services), with search, categories, and location context to make discovery easier. Buyers browse listings and contact sellers directly through the site’s messaging and contact flows.

We also host news, farm stories, a farmers’ markets directory, and regional discovery — so agriculture in the UK is represented as more than a product grid.

How buying and selling works

Mallport provides the advertising and connection layer: listings, profiles, and communication between members. We do not process payments for goods between buyers and sellers, and we are not a party to those transactions. If you agree a sale, delivery, or return, that happens between you and the other party. The only payments handled on the service relate to seller advertising where applicable. Details are in our terms and conditions.

Knowledge, innovation, and intelligence

  • Knowledge hub — curated news by topic for climate-smart and resilient farming context (soil, water, policy, and practical ideas).
  • Innovation hub — farmer-led innovation: programmes, case studies, supplier and service discovery, and editorial space separate from day-to-day listing tools.
  • Intelligence hub — reference widgets built from cached public feeds (weather, policy headlines, resilience context). It is for operational awareness, not statutory alerting.

Community and optional tools

Members can take part in community spaces — stories, forums, events, and groups — alongside listings. Some features are pilots or optional extras (for example food chain traceability notes for batch-style transparency); they are clearly labelled in product copy and are not a substitute for regulatory traceability unless we say otherwise.

Why we care about UK agriculture

Short supply chains, transparent sourcing, and viable farm businesses matter for food security, landscapes, and rural economies. We aim to make it easier to find producers and services, understand context through news and hubs, and talk to the right people — from commercial farms and food businesses to smaller-scale growers and local buyers.

Our commitment

We work to keep Mallport useful and honest: clear about what the platform does and does not do, respectful of seller and buyer autonomy, and aligned with high editorial standards where we publish or curate content. Where we show trust signals (such as verified seller review), they reflect our internal checks — not government certification. See our verified sellers explainer and privacy policy.

Thank you for using Mallport. To get started, browse listings or contact us with questions or feedback.
